Stanley Park Maternity Session {Vancouver Maternity Photographer}

Wedding season has come to a halt so it is time to catch up on my blogging!

A few weeks ago and I got to photograph a gorgeous woman at Stanley Park in Vancouver. I could not have asked for better weather and lighting.

Even though I offer in studio photography, taking pictures in nature and outdoors are my favourite. The natural light, trees, colors and never ending backdrops gives a vast assortment of ideas for me when photographing. Stanley Park, for instance, has a lot of areas and scenery’s to choose from: rose gardens, totem poles, water, backdrop of the city, trees, beach and much more.

My favourite areas of Stanley Park would have to be the rose gardens and the entrance to the park. The rose gardens have a lot of beautiful flowers, depending on the season, a trellis, open grass area and pathway. The entrance of Stanley Park has a neat little beach area, boats, seawall, overpass and a overturned tree.

The only downfall to Stanley Park is that it is usually packed with people, especially in the summer. In the summer, I often has to edit people out in the backdrop because it is a popular place to be.
