Over the last few weeks,  my photography was put on hold because of a new opportunity I took on in my life.  My short time away from the camera has made me eager to start snapping away again. I have decided for this long weekend, I would create some interesting photo set-ups and post three different blogs. I’m excited, so here it goes.

Today, I started with my sister. I dressed her up in a vintage dress and drove over to Whonnock Lake in Maple Ridge. Not only is Whonnock Lake a hot spot for weddings, it’s also the area I grew up in. I really enjoy the tranquility and stillness of this lake. I feel at ease and blanketed with calmness when I’m there.  It was a great day to shoot photos and I had a lot of fun. So, here are my photos. Enjoy.
