“Fabulous Vendor Series” Part 1

Over the last 2 years I’ve been part of many couple’s big days. I’ve got to watch many brides walk down the aisle, see grooms tear up, listen to emotional speeches and take part in the festivities that go into the wee hours of the morning. It has been such a great experience!

In addition to all the wonderful moments, I have also got to work with so many great wedding vendors: Makeup and hair artists, cake designers, wedding planners, musicians, commissioners, florists, videographers and other photographers. I really want to take the moment to share some of the people I have worked and the impact they make on a bride and groom’s special day.

So here is my first entry highlighting the wonder Rae Pelat.

Rae Pelat is Vancouver based Make-up Artist. She specializes in multiply make-up looks; such as, tv/film, fashion, beauty/bridal, air-brushing, and special FX. Rae also does hairstyling for many specialized events.

I first worked with Rae when she did makeup for my sister’s wedding in the summer of 2013. She was very professional, easy going, friendly, calm and well prepared. She made the whole bridal party look beautiful! Since then, I’ve worked with Rae on a few head shots, a wedding and look forward to working with her on future projects!
