At the beginning of June, I got the opportunity to travel up to Kelowna to photograph a beautiful wedding at the Hotel Eldorado. As of this year, 2015, I officially photograph weddings in this beautiful area of BC. 

I actually used to live in Kelowna a few years ago. I completed my Diploma in Digital Photography at the Centre of Arts in Technology, which is in the heart of Kelowna. While living up there, I got the opportunity to familiar myself with many photos areas, venues, shops, other wedding vendors and more. One area that I frequent in the Okanagan is Winfield, which is just outside of Kelowna. I have family members up there and love it. It is my home away from home.

The Hotel Eldorado is absolutely stunning. The banquet hall is luxurious and overlooks the beautiful Okanagan Lake. The ceremony was located on the roof top of the hotel. There was a trellis set up that faced the mountains and lake. It was the perfect backdrop for photos while the bride and groom exchanged vows.

The marina at the hotel was a great spot for photos. I really enjoyed taking Blake and Emmy out just after sunset to get that beautiful even light. There was also a board walk along the hotel which was beautiful for photos.
