This past July, I got the pleasure of photographing Laurie and Ryan’s wedding in Chilliwack, BC.

I first met Laurie and her mother when they booked me for photos back in 2014. Both Laurie and her mom were so excited for the wedding that they started crying during our meeting. For those who don’t know me, I cry at almost everything sentimental. I was literally biting my tongue trying not to burst out in tears. I knew right then in there that Laurie and Ryan’s wedding was going to be amazing! There was so much love in the air!

The day started out with getting ready photos of Laurie, her bridesmaids and Mother. We then proceeded to Camp River Hall where the ceremony and reception took place. Camp River Hall’s back yard was set up for the ceremony which was decorated beautifully. The backyard overlooked mountains and farmland which I’m really drawn to when taking wedding photos!

The reception was also decorated beautifully in shades of purple and orange. Camp River Hall has a lot of rustic charm which was continued throughout the theme of the wedding with large flowers and burlap table runners. I loved the party favours at each seat as well, jarred pickles! My mom used to jar pickles every summer when I was growing up so it brought back a lot of memories for me.

In all, Ryan and Laurie’s wedding was amazing and as I said before, there was so much love!
