On September 12th, 2015 I photographed Bobby and Jenn’s wedding at Shelby’s Pond in Chilliwack, BC.

The day started out at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack where I took photos of Jenn and her Bridesmaid’s getting ready. We then proceeded to Shelby’s Pond where the ceremony and reception took place. Before the ceremony, Jenn got dressed in the main house on the property. The house was gorgeous and there was so much detail and natural light which turned out really well for photos.

The ceremony was decorated beautifully with old wine barrels, flowers and window panes. The guests sat facing a beautiful pond which had a fountain in the middle that misted the air. It was breathtaking!

After the ceremony the bridal party and I walked around the property to take photos. I took photos of them on old farm equipment, in front of willow trees and buildings on the property.

The reception was in a barn located at the back of the property. The barn was painted colorfully and had lots of grass around it where guests played lawn games and socialized. Inside the barn, it was decorated beautifully. Cream and brown tones where used through the venue. The centre pieces where my favourite; mason jars filled with white flowers on wood rounds. Very rustic and pretty!

Near the end of the night, just as the sun was setting, I went to the back of the field with the Bride and Groom and took some photos of them in the long grass. I love doing sunset shots!

Overall it was an amazing wedding and I hope all the best for Jenn and Bobby!
