A few weeks back, I photographed the lovely Baby R. She was so cute and I had so much fun holding and posing her.
Some of the bean bag fabrics in my recent posts are new. There is an amazing fabric store in Vancouver called Dressew where I get many of my textured fabrics. This store, which is just past Cambie on Hastings, has been in business for many years and is known for there variety of costumes at Halloween. I swear, I could spend hours in this store. They have so many amazing fabrics that are unique and at a reasonable price. The basement is their clearance section, so if you ever decide to visit, definitely check it out.
Another fabric store that I have been to is Fabricland in South Vancouver. This store always has tones of clearance items that are perfect for newborn photography. I went in a few days ago and they had lots of their winter fabrics on sale. I got some beautiful boy fabric that I’m excited to use in a twin session, that I will be photographing soon.
One of my favourite photos from this session is the crib pictures with the darker accents. The piece of lace fabric in the photos was purchased at Dressew. I must say, this crib is one of my favourite props. I purchased it at an antique store in Fort Langley for $25. It is also one of the props I get the most requests for. So glad I found it.
Enjoy the pics!
