This last weekend, it was the last family BBQ of the summer. Cry! lol My parents had successfully grown watermelon in their garden this year so my dad called the dinner, “The Watermelon Harvest.”

My parents started growing a garden a few years ago. It began with a few planters and how extends to the large rock retaining wall in the yard. This year, they grew watermelon, cantaloupe and pumpkins. I specifically requested pumpkins for Kinsley’s first Halloween. I have officially named the section of pumpkin’s, ‘Whonnock Pumpkin Patch’ even though there are only 11 or 12 growing.

My Grandma Suzanne also joined us for the festivities. Here are some photos to mark the occassion.
