I haven’t done a blog post in a while so I thought I would start with a little introduction. My name is Brianne and I’m a photographer specializing in newborn photography. Actually, I do lots of different types of photography but I probably do newborns the most.

My quaint little studio, located in Surrey, BC, has lots of props, outfits and backdrops available for newborn sessions. You don’t need to bring anything for baby except the basic necessities like formula, wipes, diapers and coffee – if you are tired, lol.

For posed, in studio sessions, I offer a range of different packages. I have packages that are just of baby or ones where you can add on family and siblings. You can find my pricing and packages on my website.

For the session below, we customized it so more of family and a few wrapped images of baby. Wrapped images are always the way to go if you don’t want to be in a newborn session for a lengthy period of time. Wrapped images are faster because baby generally remains calm cause they are all bundled up.

If you are looking for undressed images, those sessions tend to be a little longer as baby can wake up and will need time to feed and settle down.

I also offer in home lifestyle sessions where I bring the props to you. I only do a few posed sessions with these as I only have so much room in my car to bring props and etc. For these sessions, I would do any family poses around the clients home, focusing on natural light. This photos are generally done with the parents bedroom, living room and the nursery. I would bring my strobe light and focus on the posed baby images after all the family images are done. These sessions can also be customized if you want something different than what you see on my website.
