At the beginning of July I photographed Shawneen and Jordan’s lovely wedding. The bridal party and I went to many areas for this wedding which gave me the opportunity to take lots of photos with different backdrops.
The wedding started out in Coquitlam where the ceremony took place. The bridal party and I then headed to Vancouver for formal photos. The bridal party photos were taken at Queen Elizabeth Park. This park is beautiful but I wish some of the garden areas were not fenced off. I understand that the park is preventing people from damaging the garden but the narrow pathways were hard to take photos. There were some lovely areas in the rose garden that worked perfectly though. The shade and stone pathway were great for photos too.
After the bridal party photos we all went to New Westminster for the reception. The reception was at Glenbrook Park Centre. There was so many different areas for photos at Glenbrook Park Centre. Just behind the centre there is a beautiful park with lots of shade, a beautiful path, pond, bridge and garden. In summer, it is so nice to get photos of the bride and groom in the evening because of the even and cool light. It is convenient to have a beautiful area near the reception for some evening pics. It provides a different look then midday photos so the bride and groom get a large variety of shots.
All the best to the happy couple and enjoy the pics!
