100 Images of 2017

2017 was an amazing year. It started out with the arrival of my daughter Kinsley and ended my partner Bryan, proposing. Talk about crazy year!

At the beginning of 2017, Bryan and I welcomed our daughter into the world. Kinsley Suzanne Christine Candy was born on January 15th, 2017. It was a tough labour which eventually ended in an emergency c-section. My body and mind went though a lot but it was all worth it. Bryan and I  fell in love with Kinsley the first moment we saw her and have enjoyed every minute with her over the last year.

During the last year has been great but I have had some challenges I have had to work on. I have had to learn how to balance work life and being a mom. I’m not going to lie, it is hard. There have been many sleepless nights and moments were I have had to get friends and family to come over to babysit while I worked. I feel as she is getting older though, things are becoming a lot easier and I’m able to manage my time so much better.

In addition to a baby and a ring, I photographed lots in 2017. Between weddings, newborn and maternity sessions, my schedule was pretty full. I shot 14 weddings, several family and maternity sessions, a few cakes smashes, headshots and tones of newborn shoots. Oh, and then there was my Christmas Mini Sessions which I feel like I’m still recovering from. Lol – so many! My Christmas Sessions where so successful that I have already started planning for 2018. Props and backdrops have already been purchased so stay tuned.

I spent some time going through my images and picked out some of my favourite ones. I wish I could post more but then I would probably never get around to blogging about 2017. Here are 100 images of 2017.
