I love creating sets for photos, especially cake smash sessions.  I think my love for it came when I was doing Theatre at UFV back in the day.

I had some beach themed items I had been collecting over the last few months. I thought I’d put them to use with my daughter. Kinsley is 16 months and it is hard for her to stay still for photos, like most kids. I thought by putting something in front of her to eat, would be the best way for her to stay focused. It worked. I didn’t intend for these photos to turn into a cake smash but it did. She loved food so it was the perfect trick for keeping her in one spot for photos.
